The FREINO Z carabiner has a friction hook to increase or adjust the friction during descent. It is easy to use and compatible with the I'D S, I'D L, I'D EVAC and RIG self-braking descenders. When it is rotated it makes the descender resistant to loss when it is transferred from the gear loop to the ventral attachment point or the anchor.
 
The FREINO Z has a TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system.
