An asymmetrical aluminium carabiner opened with a special pin, the Petzl Am'D PIN-LOCK asymmetrical aluminium carabiner is designed for use with groups. Thanks to the PIN-LOCK system, which can only be opened by the user with a specific unlocking pin, it secures the user's connection. The Am'D PIN-LOCK can be connected to the CAPTIV positioning bar to make it easier to position the carabiner on its major axis, to limit the risk of rotation and to keep it integrated with the device.
