BEAL BIRDIE DESCENDER

It is a Beal brand descent and belay device. All the cam and friction components are manufactured from stainless steel material. Its weight is 210 grams. The construction of the device axis prevents the rope twisting. The BIRDIE descender is used on dynamic single ropes. It is used on "single ropes" in thicknesses between 8.5-11 mm. The ideal working range is between 8.5 - 10.5 mm.
 
It is used like classic belay devices (ATC, BE UP, CLICK UP, GRIGRI and so on). Both hands must be used to give and take in rope. To stop a fall the free rope coming out of the belay device must be held. The friction on the cam is adjusted with the help of the handle. It is CE certified. It is produced in accordance with the EN 15151-1:2012 standard. It is UIAA certified. It is produced in three different colours.
