The Air Force One works with a single rope of any diameter. It is suitable for use by beginner climbers using a 'classic' rope and at the same time has product features that meet the needs of professional climbers using thinner ropes. The V-groove offers extra friction to improve rope braking while belaying and optimum energy absorption when catching a leader fall. The wide, flat groove allows the rope to run without edges.
