PETZL NEWTON FAST Harness - International Version C073DA

The NEWTON FAST is a lightweight, ergonomic fall arrest harness that can be put on quickly. It is equipped with padded shoulder straps and FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops, which allows the harness to be put on with both feet on the ground without loss of adjustment. With equipment loops and slots for a tool bag, the harness provides instant access to tools.
 
The textile sternal attachment point and the metal and textile dorsal attachment points provide tremendous versatility. It positions MGO connectors ergonomically and has fall indicators. It is certified according to North American, European and Russian standards. A lightweight, ergonomic design: The anatomical design fits closely but provides optimum freedom of movement The textile sternal attachment point is lightweight and abrasion resistant A coated aluminium dorsal attachment point for great durability A textile dorsal attachment point for attaching a retractable fall arrester The padded shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce friction on the neck It allows a LIFT to be fitted for descending in an upright position It is put on quickly and is easy to use: The harness is put on with both feet on the ground using the FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops and the chest strap; these allow fast and easy fastening and unfastening without loss of adjustment even with gloves, and the unlocking system limits the risk of accidental opening Shoulder straps equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for fast and easy adjustment Two equipment loops and two slots for a TOOLBAG tool bag, for easy tool access A stowage system for the MGO connectors on fall arrest lanyards is located on each shoulder strap; in the event of a fall, the system releases the MGO connectors and allows the absorber to deploy The international version has a fall indicator: after a fall on the sternal or dorsal attachment point, a red webbing appears to indicate that the harness must be withdrawn from service.
