A self-braking descender with an anti-panic feature produced for lowering from anchor points The self-braking Petzl I'D EVAC descender is designed to be used for lowering from anchor points. The ergonomic lowering handle is designed especially for managing a load being lowered from an anchor and offers comfortable descent control. The integrated anti-panic and anti-error system limits the possibility of an accident occurring due to user error.
 
The AUTO-LOCK system allows the device to lock without touching the handle and without removing the device. Once it is locked, ascending the rope can be carried out without touching the descent handle. The safety gate allows the rope to be attached without removing the device from the anchor point. The I'D EVAC allows use with ropes between 10-11.5 mm and with loads up to 250 kg. It is designed for lowering from an anchor point.
