The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to make use easier during rope manoeuvres. In normal use the device follows the user in all their movements, moving freely on the rope without any manual intervention. In the event of a shock or sudden acceleration the device locks onto the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the user to fix the device in place to reduce the amount of fall.
 
The connecting arm prevents the device from falling when passing intermediate anchors. The ASAP LOCK can also be used with ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS shock absorbers to work away from the rope. Continuous fall protection: It arrests falls, slips and uncontrolled descents. It works on a vertical or angled rope. It grips the rope even if it is squeezed by hand during a fall. The integrated locking function allows the user to fix the device in place to reduce the amount of fall.
 
In conditions of strong wind, this function also prevents the rope from being pulled upwards. Easy and effective use: It moves down or up on the rope without requiring any manual intervention. It is easy to attach to and remove from any point on the rope. The connecting arm prevents the device from falling when passing intermediate anchor points.
 
It can be used together with a shock absorber to work away from the rope: with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS. Together with an ASAP'SORBER AXESS it can be used in two person rescue operations up to 250 kg.
