With its unique locking system the ASAP has raised the bar in protecting those working at height from falls. In normal use the device moves freely on the rope without any manual intervention, following the user in all their movements. In the event of a shock or sudden acceleration the device locks onto the rope and stops the user. The ASAP can also be used with ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS shock absorbers to work away from the rope.
 
Continuous fall protection: It stops falls, slips and uncontrolled descents. It works on a vertical or angled rope. It holds onto the rope even if it is gripped by hand during a fall. Easy and effective use: It moves down or up on the rope without requiring manual intervention. It is easy to install on and remove from any point of the rope. The connecting arm prevents the device dropping when passing intermediate anchor points.
 
It can be used together with a shock absorber to work away from the rope: with the ASAP'SORBER or the ASAP'SORBER AXESS. Together with the ASAP'SORBER AXESS it can be used in two person rescue operations of up to 250 kg.
