D-4 Descender (with Anti-Panic System)

• The D4 controlled descender is designed for working on a rope. The D4 offers unique freedom of movement in vertical, horizontal and angled work on a rope. • It can be fitted to or removed from the system at any point on the rope. • The D4 descender has a unique and innovative cam action offering precise control at fast or slow speed. The advanced cam works via a cam path operating inside another cam. • In work with a rope, slack on the rope is easily taken up. • It is possible to work and take up a working position with the hands free in the locked position. • The D4 has a working load of 240 kg.
 
This means that it is suitable for rescue work without the need for extra friction. • The multifunctional handle is designed to rotate through 360° for easier and simpler use. The handle itself is aluminium and is covered with a plastic coating. It provides extra grip. • The smart rotation system helps the user determine the correct position of the handle, accompanied by an audible click. • Thanks to the anti-panic system, if the user moves the handle forcefully the system locks automatically. • The outer body is made of high-strength aluminium material. • The internal cams are made of stainless steel material. • The minimum breaking strength is 16 kN.
