CT SPARROW 200 CT DESCENDER

It is a safety device that allows braked descent while working on a rope. It allows the user to descend/ascend on the working line and to position themselves. Applications: 1-) Search and Rescue: It is EN 341:2011-2A certified. It has a working load capacity of 200 kg. The maximum descent height is 180 metres. It can be used with STATIC ropes. 2-) Rope Access / Descender: It is EN 12841:2006-C certified. It has a working load capacity of 210 kg.
 
It can be used with static and semi-static EN 1891-A type, Ø 11 mm ropes. Features: It is equipped with braking channels that provide extra friction on the rope during descent without the need for any additional equipment. Thanks to the automatically closing and multifunctional control handle it allows the user to descend at a controlled speed and to stop the descent at the desired point without tying off the device.
 
It has the EBS safety system (Extraordinary Braking System). If the handle is fully opened by mistake it reduces the descent speed rather than increasing it. Thanks to its opening side plate the rope can be installed easily when passing intermediate station points. Technical Specifications: Weight: 529 g.
