SKYLOTEC SKYVEST Smart Airbag Vest

The SKYVEST is a TÜV-certified category 2 PPE item designed to reduce injuries and provide protection in falls from a low height. Made of tear-resistant material, the reflective vest with an integrated airbag inflates within 200 ms in the event of a fall. The airbag system is inflated by a CO2 pressure cylinder fitted with a pyrotechnic trigger. After a fall, the inflator can be replaced by the user, which makes the vest reusable. The inflator unit (included), which is connected to the electronic sensor unit, detects fall situations on the basis of parameters such as the person's movement, acceleration and position. Not only the chest and back (including the spine) but also the back of the head and the coccyx are protected. The SKYVEST, which can also be worn over a conventional harness, can significantly reduce the risk of injury when used together with PPE against falls from a height, for example in pendulum falls. With a battery life of up to 40 hours, it is flexible, independent and universally usable - a perfect complement for all areas where PPE against falls from a height cannot be applied.
