PETZL ASTRO Harness - European Version C083AB01

The ASTRO harness is designed for rope access technicians. Its design is specific to rope progression and climbing. The 3D foam padding and the semi-rigid waist belt and leg loop construction provide comfort throughout the working day. The removable ventral attachment point allows the user to position the equipment needed for progression efficiently.
 
The integrated CROLL L chest ascender increases efficiency for rope ascent. The metal side attachment points on the waist belt, the gear loops and the tool holder slots allow the user to organise and carry all the equipment needed for a day's work. The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and the FAST release buckles make putting on and adjusting the harness simple and practical even while wearing gloves.
 
An ultra comfortable construction: The shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce friction on the neck Sliding shoulder straps provide more freedom and ease of movement 3D foam padding is used in all contact areas including the shoulder straps, the waist belt and the leg loops and is lined with breathable material to provide more comfort while in suspension and throughout the working day The semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops provide optimum harness fit and support The metal side attachment points can be folded downwards to prevent them being clipped accidentally when they are not in use The elastic leg loop straps (replaceable and available as an accessory) ensure the harness keeps the correct adjustment while the user is walking or hanging An aluminium dorsal ring on the shoulder / waist belt connecting strap Integrate equipment efficiently with the removable ventral attachment point: Connect PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyards directly to the pin of the attachment point without a connector The CROLL L chest ascender connects directly to the ventral point for more efficiency and freedom of movement in rope ascents Attach a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat to the pin of the attachment point so that the load is supported directly by the descender while mobility is provided at the ventral attachment point A practical adjustment system: A FAST release buckle on the left side of the shoulder straps that makes putting on and taking off easier; on the right side there is a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle with an anti-slip device for easy adjustments that do not slip The waist belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and anti-slip devices can be fitted (included with the product but not fitted) The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles are made of anodised aluminium and continue to adjust easily throughout the service life of the harness The leg loops are equipped with FAST release buckles that are fastened and released quickly and easily without the need for readjustment even while wearing gloves Carrying and organising equipment is easy: The shoulder straps are equipped with a Velcro strap that can be adjusted up or down to hold the ASAP'SORBER shock absorber and can be positioned on the left or right side A parking point can be fitted on the shoulder sections for attaching the hooks of fall arrest lanyards (available as an accessory) The waist belt is equipped with two foldable, side metal attachment points for connecting a positioning lanyard in double mode Seven pre-shaped gear loops with a protective sheath, two slots for CARITOOL gear carabiners and the INTERFAST gear carrying device and also two loops for TOOLBAG gear bags Attachment points The ventral attachment point: A connection for a descender, a lanyard or a work seat The lateral attachment points: A positioning lanyard connection for use in double mode The sternal attachment point: A connection for a fall arrest system The dorsal attachment point: A connection for a fall arrest system The rear attachment point on the waist belt: A lanyard connection Specifications Certification(s): CE EN 361, EN 813, EN 358, EN 12841 type B Material(s): Nylon, polyester, aluminium, steel C083AB01 Colour(s): Black / Yellow Size: 1 Waist belt: 70 - 93 cm Leg Loops: 47 - 62 cm User Height: 165 - 185 cm Weight: 1935 g Warranty: 3 years
