A handled ascender for use in rope manoeuvres The Petzl ASCENSION handled ascender is designed for use in rope manoeuvres and features an ergonomic grip section for a comfortable and powerful hold when pulling with one or both hands. The ASCENSION handled ascender features two large holes to which you can attach carabiners for a lanyard and a foot loop. Detailed Description: Simple and efficient use: The ergonomic moulded handle provides a comfortable but powerful hold The wide opening allows the handle to be gripped easily even with thick gloves An ergonomic upper section for maximum power when pulling with both hands The safety catch is integrated into the ascender body to prevent snagging The toothed cam mechanism provides optimum performance in all conditions (ice, mud, etc.) thanks to its self-cleaning slot A large lower hole so that the PROGRESS lanyard and the FOOTAPE and FOOTCORD foot loops can be attached comfortably A large upper hole for attaching a carabiner around the rope.
 
Left-handed and right-handed versions are available. There is a choice of black/yellow or black colour.
