PETZL ABSORBICA Y - Twin-Leg Lanyard - L012AA00 - 80cm
A twin lanyard with a shock absorber A twin lanyard with a compact, integrated shock absorber for progression on vertical structures or when passing intermediate anchors on horizontal lifelines. There are different attachment options to the harness with different connector types. 80 and 150 cm versions are available (excluding carabiners). The 150 cm version has elastic arms so as not to hinder progression.
Depending on the connector types used, the ABSORBICA-Y is approved to American, European and Russian standards. Detailed Description: It is designed for progression on vertical or horizontal lifelines when passing intermediate anchor points. It absorbs the shock during a fall: The tearing of the shock absorber webbing reduces the impact force on the user It is suitable for users weighing between 50 and 130 kg Progressive tearing reduces the deceleration of lighter users.
Minimum bulk: The compact shock absorber makes use easier. The 150 cm FLEX version has elastic webbing to prevent tangling during progression The durable zipped fabric sheath protects the shock absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing the absorber to be inspected regularly. Depending on the intended use, there are two different ways of using it on the harness: Frequent use: with a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING positioning accessory (supplied with the lanyard) Semi-permanent connection: with the OPEN RING, which provides optimum positioning thanks to its circular shape Two different carabiner options: carabiners or MGO OPEN carabiners with a wide gate opening.
