The ABSORBICA-Y TIE-BACK is a twin lanyard with integrated intermediate attachment rings and a compact shock absorber. It is designed for vertical progression on very large structures and for passing intermediate attachment points. It works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg. The TIE-BACK system allows the user to wrap around structures with very large cross-sections.
 
The arms are elasticated so as not to hinder progression. It absorbs the shock in the event of a fall: - The progressive tearing of the shock absorber webbing limits the impact force on the user - It works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg (1) It is designed for use at the maximum length (including carabiners): (L015AB00) - 200 cm under the CE EN 355 standard - 183 cm (6 feet) under ANSI Z359.13 Minimum bulk: - The very compact design of the energy absorber does not hinder the user during progression - Elasticated arms so as not to hinder progression The durable fabric pouch with a simple opening system protects the shock absorber against abrasion or contaminants while allowing the shock absorber to be inspected regularly A ready-to-use solution: it comes with two wide-opening MGO hook carabiners at the end of the lanyard and a Bm'D carabiner for the harness connection (L015BB00) Depending on the use, there are two options for mounting on the harness (L015AB00): - For frequent attaching / detaching: using a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING accessory (supplied with the shock absorber) or a MICRO SWIVEL to prevent tangling - Semi-permanent connection: using a RING OPEN attachment ring, whose circular shape allows optimum positioning, or a SWIVEL OPEN to prevent tangling (1) According to the CSA Z259.11-17 standard the user's weight must be between 75 and 140 kg.
