• The LokHead is simple to use and is designed to be used in a variety of different applications. • By being fixed to one leg of a tripod it can be used for confined space rescue and load carrying. • It has a working load of 500 kg and weighs only 4.2 kg (15.4 lb). • It increases the operator's pulling power by up to 40 times. (a 40:1 mechanical advantage system) • The braking system controls the descent and protects the user against free falls.
 
It has a system that prevents the user's fingers and clothing from being caught inside the winch. • The winch is designed for use with Ø 10 - 12 mm static ropes. In this way it reduces weight while ensuring compatibility with the load. Its smooth surface design does not damage the rope. • The winch has a mechanical handle and it is very easy to control with this handle.
