CT FALL ARRESTER EASY SPEED
It is the Climbing Technology brand fall arrester model. It is designed for work at height and rope access work. It complies with the EN 353-2 and EN 12841-A/B standards. It holds the RFU 11.075 requirements for use on inclined or horizontal surfaces over an edge (r ≥ 0.5 mm). It provides safe descent and ascent along a vertical line by locking instantly in the event of a fall.
Attaching it to and removing it from the rope can be done quickly and easily. It has a two position (Rest and Go) adjustment. In the "Go" position the device moves freely along the rope and locks in the event of a fall. In the "Rest" position the device can be blocked manually above the user in order to minimise the potential fall factor. A two stage opening system: to open the device you first have to press the safety lever and then lift the locking lever upwards.
The device opens only if these steps are followed. In this way it eliminates the risk of accidental opening. It is safe even when a mistake is made. If the device is turned upside down the blocking lever does not open. In this way it prevents the rope being installed upside down. It is CE certified.
