BEAL OPERA 8.5 MM X 70 M BLUE DYNAMIC ROPE (G.D)
A Beal brand dynamic rope. It is used as a single, half and twin rope. It is used on snowy peaks and mountains, on mixed routes, on snow-field walks and in mountaineering applications carried out in normal weather and terrain conditions. It is manufactured using Golden Dry and Unicore technology. BEAL dynamic ropes are coated with a special chemical in order to extend the life of the rope by increasing its resistance to abrasion and to getting wet.
When the rope is new, the friction created between descent and belay devices and the rope will be reduced. Thanks to UNICORE technology it provides high abrasion resistance for experienced mountaineers. GOLDEN DRY combines 2 processes in the rope: the treatment of the core is added to the DRY COVER sheath treatment. As a result it helps to obtain a highly durable and waterproof rope. It can be produced in 50, 60, 70, 80 and 200 metre lengths.
