BEAL APOLLO 11MM X 200M DYNAMIC ROPE (RED)

It is a Beal brand dynamic rope. It is made by twisting continuous polyamide fibres. It has a core section and a sheath section made of polyamide fibres in order to protect the core. It is used as a single rope. It is designed for use in the most demanding sport climbing and indoor climbing. It has a construction that can show durability against the damage rocks will cause to the rope on long wall climbs.
 
It has sharp edge resistance. The sheath layer is thick so that it can show resistance to the difficulties of big wall climbing. It is manufactured using Dry Cover and ThermoFluid technology. BEAL dynamic ropes are coated with a special chemical with the aim of extending the life of the rope by increasing its resistance to abrasion and wetting. When the rope is new the friction that occurs between the rope and descent and belay devices will be reduced.
 
Dry Cover: While the rope is being produced it passes through a type of chemical process. This process increases the abrasion and water resistance of the rope. It increases its resistance to heat, moisture and dust. Thermo Fluid: It is an infrared process that stabilises the sheath fibres and in this way makes the yarns more homogeneous. As a result of this process it has a more compact construction and better durability. It can be produced in sizes of 50, 60, 70, 80, 100 and 200 metres.
